Everyday Jack is a private coaching app. Your conversations are yours. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. This page explains exactly what we collect, how we protect it, and what you can do with it.
What we collect
When you create an account and use Everyday Jack, we store the following:
- Your name and username — used to personalize your coaching experience
- Your access code — stored as a one-way hash, never as plain text. We cannot read your access code.
- Session data — the date of your sessions, the challenges you worked on, and any commitments you made
- Conversation transcripts — the full text of your coaching conversations, stored so you can review them in Past Sessions
We do not collect your email address, phone number, payment information, location, or any other personal information.
How your conversations are used
Your coaching conversations are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate Jack's responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle API data. Anthropic does not use API conversation data to train their models by default.
Your conversation transcripts are stored in our secure database so you can access them in the Past Sessions panel. They are visible to you and to the Everyday Jack admin (Jack Ricchiuto) for coaching quality purposes only.
How we protect your data
All data is transmitted over HTTPS — encrypted in transit between your browser and our servers. Your access code is processed through a one-way hash before storage, meaning even we cannot recover it if you forget it.
Login attempts are rate-limited. After 5 failed attempts within 5 minutes, further attempts are temporarily blocked to protect your account.
Who can see your data
Your coaching conversations and session data are visible to:
- You — through the Past Sessions panel in the app
- Jack Ricchiuto — as the coach and app administrator, for coaching quality and improvement purposes only
No other parties have access to your conversations or session data. We do not share, sell, or license your data to anyone.
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and all associated data deleted, contact Jack directly and it will be removed promptly.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data stored about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your session transcripts
To exercise any of these rights, contact Jack directly through your membership site.
Cookies and tracking
Everyday Jack does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any third-party tracking technology. The only data stored in your browser is your login session state, which is cleared when you sign out.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes in any material way, members will be notified through the membership site. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
